BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

The Benefits and Leave Administrator is responsible for maintaining benefit plans, assisting with carrier feeds, and assisting employees with all benefits related needs. This employee will also be responsible for assisting with Open Enrollment for all employees, onboarding new hires with benefits orientation, coordinating COBRA needs, and administering FMLA and short and long-term disability plans.  Will be responsible for  administration of 401(k) plans and maintaining employee information on retirement plan website. 

 

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

 

  • Examines, assesses and combines data to provide information on benefits and group insurance programs and utilization
  • Assists employees with FMLA and disability needs and maintains appropriate forms and tracking of hours
  • Assists employees with COBRA needs and proper recordkeeping
  • Explains and interprets benefit plans and policies to new hires; on-boards employees via Benefits Enrollment in iSolved
  • Assists with carrier feeds for all benefit plans
  • Audits and reconciles carrier invoices
  • Participates in benefit plan design meetings annually and provides input on upgrades or needed plan design changes
  • Administers Wellness and Gym incentives and ensures new hires are enrolled in Wellness plan
  • Assists with general 401(k) plan enrollment and administration
  • Prepares and distributes ACA forms annually to employees
  • Acts as point of contact for employees nationwide with regard to company benefits
  • Other duties as directed by HR Manager, Central Region

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

 

4 year degree or minimum 2 year degree with at least 3-4 years' experience
