Billing Manager:

Passion for billing.  Dedication to customer service.  That's what we are looking for in our Billing Manager. The successful candidate will take pride in ownership of the billing function of iSolved HCM and help the executive leadership team ensure accuracy in billing as well as implement customer support programs to assist customers in understanding their monthly bill.   This high profile role is expected to understand best practices as it pertains to SAAS contracting/billing arrangements and work with other departments in the Company to help maximize our monetization, streamline processes, and assist in the training employees on invoicing practices/policies.

The Billing Manager must be able to manage high volumes of transactions with multiple lines of business quickly and accurately.  Working with a staff of three billing leads, two sales admins and a billing specialist, the Billing Manager must think strategically on how to scale the billing function and fully utilize technology available and consistently seek to improve the customer experience.  


  • Functionally administer the billing platform and implement enhancements to systems as needed to improve the billing function.
  • Trouble shoot billing errors and investigate root causes.  Recommend corrections to systems/processes to reduce billing errors.
  • Ensure that monthly and annual billings are processed in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Work closely with the Sales Administrators to verify contracts are completely executed before entering into billing system and ensure customers are billed in accordance with the contract.
  • Communicate directly with customers, client services team, account management team, and sales team on resolving billing issues.
  • Track billing issues and report to the Corporate Controller billing issues.
  • Motivate, encourage, coach, and train the Billing Coordinators to elevate performance
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in the monthly accounting close process as it pertains to billings and revenue recognition.
  • Manage 6 direct reports


Job Requirements:

  • Experience managing a scaled SaaS (Software as a Service) or subscription billing cycle (this is a MUST-have)
  • Experience with Extended Service Warranty billing a plus.
  • Driven, focused individual, able to independently operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Experience in implementing system and process improvements
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn multiple lines of business and provide guidance to the Billing leads
  • Experience with billing for multiple subsidiaries and lines of business
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Very advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
