  • BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: 

Under the direction of the Director of Product Engineering, the Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the business needs of the clients and stakeholders specifically in the HCM custom reporting group.  The analyst will assist in collecting project requirements and enforcing task schedules and deadlines.  The analyst will understand and implement the standards and compliance measures of Infinisource consistently.  The analyst will proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies, share acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels and encourage development of internal staff. 

 

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:
  1. Perform project requirements gathering with our internal and external customer base.
  2. Document report specifications that effectively communicate programming requirements to technical development resources.
  3. Develop thorough test case scenarios for custom report and custom export testing.
  4. Perform troubleshooting related to custom report issues.
  5. Manage project timelines with respect to report development, testing and deployment.
  6. Act as a liaison between the customer and development team as needed.
  7. All other related jobs functions as they arise and as needed.
  8. Effective communication to the entire staff regarding changes and updates to documents, processes and systems etc.

 

  • SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated functional business process knowledge related to payroll services.
  • Strong technical aptitude and capabilities.
  • Organization and prioritization skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail with respect to documenting project specifications and test cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technical development resources.
  • Understanding of business related technical issues and the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Proven customer service leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned project work. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the payroll or HCM industry.
    • Software implementation experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
    • Experience with viewingediting various file types (Fixed Length, CSV, Excel, XML).
    • Microsoft Office experience, (Excel, Word, Power Point) expertise.
    • Associates degree or equivalent education and business experience.
