Brief statement of the purpose of this position: 

 

Prepare and process all payroll packages going to client.

 

Primary responsibilities of this position are:

 

  1. Accurately sort and package client payrolls according to written procedures.
  2. Process packages for shipping with multiple couriers including mail.
  3. Maintain shipping logs for payroll packages
  4. Coordinate, package and track payroll inserts such as quarterlies and correspondence to clients
  5. Perform weekly inventory of office supplies
  6. Perform weekly filing of payroll timesheets
  7. Other duties as assigned by manager(s).

 

 

Education and experience:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

 

Physical demands and work environment:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.  The employee is required to use hands and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is can be high due to printers and pressure sealers running.
