Director, Product Strategy and Evangelism HCM  

Strategy and evangelism plays a very important central role within our product organization, leading the way both internally and externally to advance iSolved's market share and industry awareness. As Director of Product Strategy and Evangelism you will serve as a primary HCM subject matter expert.  

Working alongside our product marketing and product management teams, and providing significant input to both, you will lead the way with new messaging, positioning, GTM initiatives, and business use cases that will inform the product roadmap. The strategy and evangelism role proactively supports sales, marketing, implementation and product teams with enablement, new product introduction, late stage sales-cycle prospect engagement, marketing programs and event support, and acts as a principle thought leader and influencer with customer, partner and employee communities as well as media and analysts.

  • Winning product strategy across the HCM spectrum.
  • Help convert more leads into opportunities and opportunities into closed deals.
  • Effectively evangelize product strategy including messaging and go-to-market (GTM) approach.
  • Create reusable process and content for sales and partner enablement.
  • Elevate the iSolved brand in the market, with influencer and reputation communities.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team as HCM subject matter expert for prospective sales activities, and with implementation teams and channel partners to assist in deployment of the iSolved platform.
  • Understand and document specific market requirements and work with sales engineers to effectively present iSolved solutions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between sales, implementation, and partner support teams and iSolved's product management team.
  • Help initiate and develop resources to provide a market leading customer and partner experience.
  • Analyze HCM competition and communicate market challenges and opportunities internally.
  • Help define and maintain best in class GTM strategies for target markets and industries.
  • Work with marketing in support of programs (e.g. webinars, events, editorial, blog, influencers).
  • Work with sales and sales consultants to build HCM knowledge through training and enablement.
  • Work with product marketing on messaging, tools and other content.
  • Work with product management on roadmap themes and requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience in HCM technology ideally in a consulting, product marketing, product management, sales or pre-sales role, covering payroll, benefits, compensation, T&A, tax and expense management, employee experience, compliance, learning, recruiting, employee wellbeing, talent and workforce management.
  • Absolute passion for all things people-related, current trends and competitive dynamics in the broader HCM market and strong views on the future of work.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of US payroll, tax and benefits legislation.
  • Working knowledge of PEO and ASO providers.
  • Ability to provide high-level positioning and presentations that demonstrate broad HCM knowledge and combine both business and technical experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to C-level executives, customers / prospects, partners, analysts and media, etc.
  • Self-motivated performance driven professional able to operate individually.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Strong analytic skills with a data-driven mind-set.
  • Superior attention to detail with ability to multi-task.

Location: This position will be based in the USA (office or remote) and will require minimal travel.

Duration: This is a full time, permanent position.
